CBell Paintings

Cindy was raised on a North Dakota grain farm and in 1983 graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Art Education from Minot State College. Since 1988 she has taught art at Lynden Middle School. In 1997 she completed a Masters Degree in Art Education at Western Washington University.

During the summer of 2000, Ms. Bell traveled to France with several area artists. This trip, which included Paris, Giverny, Etretat and Auvers, is the inspirational source of several works on this web site.

Cindy has received several awards for her paintings and is active in community art organizations. Ms. Bell lives in the quaint Northwestern Washington town of Lynden with her husband, Russ. They have two sons, Ian and Conner who both are in the military. She enjoys creating and teaching art in her cozy little backyard studio when school is not in session.
